About Us
About Loving for LifeSince 1992
Cultivating love, dignity & wellbeing.
Since our inception in 1992, Loving for Life has been dedicated to the formation of young people during their adolescent years. We have offered information sessions and presentations on relevant topics to parents, adolescents, community groups, and schools. While primarily serving the Catholic Archdiocese of Perth, our team has also extended its reach to regional towns like Karratha, Albany, and Bunbury upon invitation
Loving for Life WA is a not for profit entity, which was created to support the work of Catholic schools to develop educational programs and resources to increase understanding of healthy, positive relationships and wellbeing, from a Christian perspective.
Inspired by the love of Christ, our programs encourage adolescents to analyse the existing attitudes around what makes a relationship healthy and sustainable, and grow in their confidence to choose ways of living that enhance dignity, safety and wellbeing. By participating in the Loving for Life programs, young people strengthen their friendships, family relationships and communities.
Our Vision
To ensure that love, compassion, and dignity are at the core of all human relationships.
Our Mission
Inspired by the love of Christ, we seek to share knowledge and develop skills for young people to form loving and healthy relationships for life, and for them to become all that God has created them to be.
Our Values
Grounded in Christian principles, our values celebrate the inherent dignity of every person. We approach our mission with care, compassion, and courage, meeting individuals wherever they are on their journey. Through respectful dialogue and understanding, we nurture the capacity for love and healthy relationships in all we serve.
Care
We understand and appreciate that every person is created in the image and likeness of the Christian God, and as such, possesses the capacity to love and be loved.
Compassion
We invite all to listen, consider and seek clarity as they develop loving and healthy relationships.
Courage
We meet and engage with others where they are at, in their journey of understanding.
Respect
We recognise the inherent dignity and worth of every human person, and we believe this to be a gift from God, to be celebrated and affirmed.
